How Does it Work?

What happens when you buy a plan?

Step One:

Add your favorite plan to your online cart and enter your information to officially purchase it! Yay!

Step Two:

You'll get a PDF of the construction documents and renderings sent directly to your email. If you don't see the email within a few minutes - check your spam folder - and email us to let us know. We'll get it sorted for you ASAP.

Step Three:

Digitally send your Construction Documents to your structural engineer and builder, or send them to your local print shop and have them printed and bound. The print size is either 24x36 or 12x18 depending on the house size.

Step Four

Your builder will guide you from there! Get ready to make decisions on the fun items like finishes and fixtures. Moving into your dream house is right around the corner!

FAQ

Still have questions?

Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of this purchase, we are unable to offer refunds for the plans.

Can PRetty House Plans PRovide an Architectural Stamp?

Unfortunately, we are only licensed in Colorado, so we likely cannot provide a stamp for your state. If you're in Colorado, we likely cannot provide a stamp either as we cannot visit the sites in person to provide thorough research and analysis required in order to comfortably provide an architecture stamp on our plans. Please check with your local jurisdiction to see if an architecture stamp is required prior to purchasing a set of plans.

Should I buy the plan first or hire a builder first?

You can do either! Builder's typically like to see what they are being asked to build prior to giving a quote for the build, but it never hurts to discuss your desire to purchase one of our plan sets with your builder prior to purchasing.

Can PRetty House Plans make changes to the design?

At this point, we do not offer changes to our designs. If the change is minor - moving a door or window or something like that - you can likely make those changes with your builder during the construction process. If the changes are major - moving rooms around or bigger - you might be better off hiring an architect to help you customize your home design.
